On my 40th birthday, my friend asked me for a piece of advice…. This is what i said
So a lot of these early episodes that I create are going to be right off the cuff, and I would really appreciate any feedback that you all have on my story and my perspective, my delivery, my enunciation, my tonality, the content. Just, I'm open to all criticism and critique, but try to keep it constructive. All right, so without further ado, the piece of advice that I gave my friend for my 40th birthday is to nourish your network
But I love this iteration, this elaboration on the value of a network and the importance it is to nourish that I myself have found value in providing stake into the community. So previously I've just maybe not given back as much as I think I could. And over the last month or so, I've been consciously giving back and putting stake into the community that I so greatly value and so greatly support. And it feels good
And I must say that the phraseology that you use, the phrase of your network, is your net worth. I have to be honest with you. I've never heard that before, but I like it and it definitely is so true. And I definitely agree with you that those folks, whether family or friends, whoever ends up nourishing you in whatever area you are in or experiencing in life, is very important to nourish that network and show your appreciation. Absolutely

I want to say thank you to all who have replied to my post, and I'm very appreciative of the feedback and the critiques that you gave. I will take all that into consideration. And we're all here to grow together, learn from one another, you know, steel sharpen steel. Iron sharpens iron. So, to all the people who follow me and to all the people that I follow, let's keep it going. Let's keep the engagement going
