In the darkest nights under the blanket I would put my soul out and hug my itself until the last heartbeat I count before going into a deep sleep in the darkest nights I'll go on a night walk I would have a word with the moon until the breeze blew away clouds on it before the sun rises again in the darkest nights I may not call any of my friends even if I need to hear voices I may not take them back until my voice a cause of joy again before I weep in the darkest nights under the starry sky I would recall my ambitions breathe the fresh air and listen the whispering of the nature in my ears until it's all gone before it's all gone in the darkest nights I'll admire myself
