Assert Yourself Without Damaging Your Relationships

When you go into a restaurant, you enter into a social contract with a business. They have asked you how you want something cooked right, something that you're paying for, and it's their responsibility to deliver it. So assert yourself by stating, excuse me, sir, ma'am, miss, whatever it is. I wanted to let you know that the steak that I ordered was medium rare

You. I truly agree. It's important to be assertive, but don't cross the line and love the example of the restaurant. That is very, very true. I believe sometimes we can try to be too humble and at the cost of our own integrity. So I do agree with you. It's important that we are assertive

@Ronald_Rotich

Take a look at yourself and take stock of who you really are and what you're really good at, and don't be ashamed to say it. Don't be ashamed to assert yourself. Don't be ashamed to regard yourself and a person who deserves a certain level of respect, a certain level of interaction, right? So thanks a lot, Ronald. I appreciate it. I'm glad that we're out here learning from each other. Take care and we'll talk soon
