#Perspective Dry January feels different in 2024

article image placeholderAs 'Dry January' becomes more popular, some express sticker shock at the price of mocktails
And if you turned on the news, if you turned on daytime programming, morning news s there was all sorts of stories about mocktails that you could make and different ideas and different products that you could drink instead of alcohol. But this year, I'm just not feeling the same thing. Now, according to the poll in this article, people participating in dry January, at least those that were polled early on in January, has grown from 15% of Americans to 21% of Americans

Is it really more popular? https://s.swell.life/SU2ImWKCc0IqkW7

And this year I asked some friends to do it with me, and they were like, you're really going to do that? They weren't that into it. And a few years ago, they were supportive of it even though they didn't do it, but they were supportive. Kind of like little sideline cheerleaders. But now it's like, yeah, I'm experiencing the same thing. It just doesn't seem to be that popular
