Breaking: Don Lemon fired from CNN minutes after Tucker Carlson parts ways with Fox
Two bombshell announcements from the cable news world happen within minutes of each other today. The first, Tucker Carlson and Fox News agreed to part ways, and then mere minutes later, CNN announcing that they have fired Don Lemon. So arguably the two largest cable news outlets firing arguably their two biggest stars within minutes of each other on this Monday morning

I'm surprised in the sense that some of those people involved, if it is indeed related to that, weren't. Also, let go by Fox News. On the flip side, not surprised because Tucker Carlson has said a lot of egregious things on his own in addition to being persuaded by the network to say and encouraged by the network to say so would and would not be surprised that it does have something to do with the lawsuit

And however, I'm thinking of a lot of people that the reverse happened and these are people that were very largely popular and I'm thinking of most recently Bill O'Reilly on the Fox News side and Chris Cuomo on the CNN side. I know Chris Cuomo's got something in the works on some outlet but it certainly hasn't drawn the same cachet that he had on CNN

But it is not enough, I think, in the court of public opinion, where their supporters and followers will be like, oh, I'm so done with this person. I mean, even one of the responses to this right here that you presented, she was like, oh, poor Don Lemon. Is it? Poor Don Lemon? Don Lemon knew what he was saying. Don Lemon knew that he could possibly say something that everybody would not be in agreement with. Did it require the acts?
He's calling a lot of his coworkers and bosses names, but he's happy to wear a mask and sort of do a song and dance because it makes him money. And I see him going to a network like OAN or Newsmax and doing incredibly well. One thing that I know about Fox News viewers having some in close circles in my life is that they love Tucker Carlson. They love him. Some of them love him more than they love Fox itself

And I think that probably both of them and certainly Tucker did just the squeeze wasn't worth the juice. He wasn't generating enough good money to offset all the negative takeaway that he that he generated. So it's always about the money. And these two news organizations both are just really in it for the money. And really, I called them both news organizations and it's pretty obvious even by their own admission in court, that Fox isn't a news organization, but rather an entertainment organization
