Dave and Busters to offer social wagering: Is the betting culture going too far?
In 2018, when the Supreme Court allowed for states to make the decision on whether to allow wagers on professional and amateur sports, I can't say that I saw this one coming. Dave and Busters announced that they will offer social wagering on the games that they have inside all of their Dave and busters locations. So if you believe your skeeball skills or your whack a mole skills are up to the task, you can go in and start hustling those games at a Dave and busters near you

How much are the two people playing against each other? Because you at least have to have two people for any sort of competition. So how much are those people putting in monetarily for that one five dollar win? So this is really a business decision. It's really about is the business wanting to advertise that, hey, they're open to take your money because there are always going to be willing people to do that. So that's the big question
And I feel like that's kind of what's happening over here in the states, especially with all the apps like you mentioned, and the fact that you could do it basically anywhere, anytime, for virtually, I mean, the range of money that you can bet is anywhere from ten cents to, you know, tens of thousands of dollars

If I can bet on hot shot basketball or skeeball when I go to Dave and Buster's, I see children at those games all the time. So maybe they won't be allowed to bet or wager, but, man, the seed will be planted for sure. And maybe they'll bring more and more people into betting when they become of age that may have not had that idea or previously thought to themselves that they will stay away from it
