Phone Etiquette: What behavior do you most want to see changed?

article image placeholderThe new phone call etiquette: Text first and never leave a voice mail
But back to the original question what is a phone etiquette of today 2023 that you would like to see implemented? What is the major thing that annoys you and what would you like to see implemented as law?

But, I mean, if I can hear it, I feel like it's kind of a problem because I'm partially deaf. So it's like, if your phone is that loud and I hear what you're listening to and it's, like, kind of something annoying. It's not even something important. It's just like an annoying meme or something. I just feel like we need to be more considerate of others when you're in a public space

End ringtones!!

A lot of times I'm having dinner with the family or whatever, and my mom will get a call and even FaceTime calls from the grandkids or whatever. My mom will get a call, and she will take the call, and even though she's not on speakerphone all the time, she will oh, and it's great if my grandma calls my mom. My mom's voice is raised, even though in my mind, I'm like, this is a phone line

You. Hey, thank you so much for doing this. Most of the etiquettes you've already pointed out, and something that annoys me the most is picking up a video call on someone without any intimation. That annoys me a lot, and that is something that I would like to see changed in today's day and age. And the second is, of course, people call you, and when you disconnect, they keep calling back. That's really annoying

@daily I do not want this call about your product!

And I'm like, I don't want a credit card. I'm happy with my debit card. I have told you this 200,000 times, stop calling me. But they don't stop calling you. It's not like I can remove my number because it's the bank. I mean, I can, but I don't think it's wise to remove your number from the bank. It's any place that requires a phone number. Inevitably they are going to start spamming you
