Raves about new books, streamed shows turn you off?
So I'm wondering if there's something out there that you are not reading or watching or participating in, because it seems like most of the rest of the world is and you want to discover something else. Hala

I was not interested in what the content was or I don't know, it wasn't kind of my go to show, but then someone had recommended it. I was, no, I think you really like it. And I ended up trying it out and I did really like succession. I think that the writing and the acting is really great. So I'm glad that I had done that
But I wanted to say that Cutting for Stone and All The Light You Cannot See are both books that I loved so much, and I did read them right when they came out and in hardcover. And I'm really looking forward to picking up The New Verge, which is waiting for me at my bookstore when I get home. Thanks for giving me a smile about this
Not so much about the thing that is the buzz about it around Appropriation, et cetera, et cetera. But I was just kind of disappointed. I didn't think it was as good a book as I wanted it to be, given all the hype that it had. I would love to hear more about what you actually think of it
