All Coast Conference?

article image placeholderUploaded by @cwt302
I will begin with what I like about it. The fact is, with this move, to the degree at least that we still have Power Five or Power Four conferences, this move puts SMU back among the sports powers, at least relatively speaking, and that's nothing to sneeze at to the degree that we accept that there will always be hegemony within the sport. It's a blow to see somebody who was within the power structure sort of lose that status, as SMU did

Stanford, Cal, and SMU join ACC, because to hell with regionalism. #80mins

How do teams typically travel?

Flying privately, I mean, that's how the pro teams do it. And I think it's very much easier. Easier on the body, easier on the mind. But I know there's an expense there, and that's a real concern to me. I mean, it's like you're going to college as well, so how you actually travel there becomes a real concern for me. And just wondering if you know the answer to that

@Phil

Now of course, with Realignment there is likely to be fewer bus rides and more flights, and from what I've heard and seen power conference schools for football at least, you're talking chartered flights. So as you mentioned, there's a quality of life differential between that and flying commercial. I think that the bigger issue lies as it has to all of this with the other sports
