article image placeholderUploaded by @SimplyCrystal
We all have habits and routines that define us as individuals, but when we start to rely too heavily on these habits, it can lead to loss of identity. This is especially true when the individual no longer has control over the habit. It becomes an automatic response or reaction without conscious thought. There are a variety of activities and habits that can lead to the loss of identity, such as playing video games, being on social media, watching TV, even texting

Yes. This is so important because we often have times where we have trouble in changing our habits. And often it's not because we're lazy, but because we're so used to these habits that we feel that if we change them, our personality would change. And we're so attached to that personality, it makes us think that who would we be then?

Good evening, Crystal. I just came across this swell. I know it's a couple of weeks old, but I just wanted to comment on your thoughts on the habits and identity. I find it so interesting. I had heard the phrase, like, hiding behind your habits. And sometimes the hiding or the habit is actually because they don't want to identify with something. Like a person may not want to identify a problem or even having. So they kind of turn to a mind numbing alternative

@GoodEnough

Thank you so much for tuning in. I greatly appreciate that. And I pray that others will work on themselves and find themselves and stop losing themselves inside of social media. Or like we were talking about isolating your things, habits, and it's all about just reconnecting with your inner self, your inner being. And that's what I'm doing. And I love it. I love it. So thank you so much for tuning in. I also followed you
