So although I'd love to respond with definitive what I believe and what I would interpret from this presentation of the song Nile, I do not know either artist well enough to fully stand behind any interpretation. However, I can return back to my original statement and say that I think that some of the beauty in being an artist is the ability to weave many, many different perspectives into one sacred experience.
