Hi, this is Kerri at Countryswell. Here I'm starting a conversation about selfcare. What does it look like or what is it? What's all the buzz about selfhare? Why is it important? Why should about it be intentional about it? Self CareCare can be a really crucial part of healing from a traumatic experience, whether it be grief and loss of a loved one, or escaping a violent relationship, or dealing with the stresses of a family member's trauma that they're coping with

Self CareCare methods such as meditation. I would like to say yes, but then again it feels like it's pertaining to certain aspects. Like, I don't know if working a ninetofive self carey. It's sort of selfsufficient, right? You're having a chance of some survival, putting a roof over your head and food on the table, but it's not at the cost of your wellbeing so much as at the cost of a company's wellbeing

Like, I'm confident that they have no expectations for you to produce this three course meal. But she would still do it anyway, and just the environment wasn't comfortable. Like, you can sense her energy. Said, I really do not want you to be here. And so that was my first glimpse. And I remember saying to myself, well, when I become an adult, if there's things that I don't want to do, I'm not going to do them

It's kind of like, am I in the right mood today? Did I say positive affirmations for myself? What did I do? You do those checks right? There your to do list, your task list. Did you cover that for yourself? And so, yeah, it is very important to do that, and it will help just alleviate some of the I would think that some of the problems that we're facing is people took self care more seriously. Right?

Thank you for, you know, hopping on and sharing your thoughts. I think it is really great that you're coming to this conversation with your leadership ann in the workplace in mind and how important you are realizing it to be for the people that you work with and or lead. I thought you would find this interesting. I actually work for a child welfare focused agency. We do a lot of therapeutic case management with families ann
