Let’s talk about game changing routines!!

Hi, this is Kerri Lynn here at Country Swell. I'd like to talk about game changing routines. What motivates us to get going, face the day, stay motivated, and do all of those hard things that we are continuously faced with. Life is hard. What keeps you motivated? What is your game changing thing you do every day, nearly every day?

What is a game changer for you? #gamechanger #routines #morningroutine #motivation #inspiration #stayonyourAgame #hydrate #makeyourbed #selfcare

So I noticed that when I'm sitting all day, just kind of in the dark inside, it definitely takes a toll on me. Another thing that really is a game changing routine is definitely taking breaks throughout the day, like, very intentional breaks where I'm not just on the phone or texting or doing things and intentionally creating a space for myself

I could picture you sitting on a porch swing or on a chair and just bird feeders around you and birds just coming in like almost snow white vibes. They're like, landing on your shoulder and just kind of drinking from your water glass, like, just very much in your space and all about it. And beautiful symbiosis. Whether that's the case or not, you paint that picture well as well as you do with the morning dew and the setting that you've experienced countless times

And I think it will put me in a better mental state if I take the time to connect with nature. Just look at the grass, listen to the sounds of various animals that are outside. I think a lot of times we get so locked in a zone and we feel even more stressed because we are around a lot of inanimate objects that are not life giving or life affirming

I look back at the week and say, what connections went well? Where could I have done better? I kind of set my intentions for work the following week, and it made me think, why don't I do an after action review? And Aaron on my personal life, either daily or weekly or even monthly, so it might be a little easier to reflect on long term, but gosh, yes. So that made me think of that

So experimenting a little bit with this swell community and what works and what doesn't gosh, I think everybody appreciates some birds or crickets or rooster crowing, something that I never tire of, and I get to listen to it all the time. Although sometimes I get to hear the farm traffic go through. There's a surprisingly a lot of milk trucks, 18 wheeler trucks hauling milk tankers and agricultural tractors. So we get a lot of that noise too, from time to time

She did have a child, young, but she's getting ready to graduate high school without her parents. And she made a post on social media explaining, I have to work two times harder than anyone else my age because my mom is gone and because I have a child. And right there I commented on her post and I said, that is very hard to be able to have this accomplishment and not have your parents around to witness this accomplishment

Those three trees are so beautiful and they're kind of like different heights as well, so I can see how that can really resemble the dynamic, the sibling dynamic. Finally. Yeah. So after Action review AR. I've never heard of that abbreviation before, but it's cool that it's like a thing and everything. I'm curious for work, what are the things that you ask yourself at the end of the day?

And then if I have somebody who was disappointed that I didn't respond quick enough or I'm having difficulty accessing the right information or planning enough time, then I can see those weak areas and set reminders or maybe ask for guidance and ideas from other staff. So that's kind of how I use it
