Sounds from the chicken coop

article image placeholderUploaded by @countryswell
Good morning. This is Carrie at Country Swell, and I'm gonna try something a little different. I'm gonna give you sounds from the chicken coop. I hope that you have enjoyed joining me for my morning chicken chores and the sounds of my small block of hens and two rowdy roosters. That's Louie. He's loud and proud. He's a Polish rooster. I'll see if I can get a decent picture of him to share. But if not, have a wonderful day

Maybe I intuitively said she, but I was under the impression that the rooster you put in the photo was a he. Anyway, he said good. He kind of made noise right when you said that you were signing off. And I thought that was really, really cute. But anyway, thanks for showing us a day in the life. Love to hear more about what you have on the farm, animals wise or what have you. But, yeah, it's exciting. Thanks for the invite

So glad you enjoyed the trip around the chicken coop. We have a nice little flock. I think it's 1314 hens right now that we have. And the two roosters, and yes, the roosters are the boys, the one that is exceptionally loud that often interrupts me, that did so at the end of my swell. We call him Sir Louie and he is loud and proud and always stomping around the yard and crowing away real personality
