Should things go back to the "Old School" way?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Cosbyal4165
And if they just listen to it, whether they were invited to it or not, I would love to get their take on things as well too, because it's a very different society from when my mom was raised from when I was raised, to even the way the society is now. But that's still the question right there. Should things go back to the old school way? So as always, give me your thoughts and as always say, stay blessed and keep inspiring

An agreeable narrative!

Can we go back to the old ways

And now we have AI throwing in the mix and figure out a way to bring us back to civility. Now, that's the $20,000 question I don't have an answer for. Because like I said, as I'm watching social media, I realize people get excited when there's a camera on. They get excited when there's a fight. And the worst part is we all, at least some of us, including myself, I'm guilty too. I would repost it

Yo yo, you already know who this is, but I'm gonna say it anyway. King Pop, you know, very interesting because I'm gonna really just ring all my bells and say excuse me. Hell yeah. Because of the simple fact these days they lost in the zone. They making their own rules and that's not how I go. Certain rules shouldn't even been touched. And we all know the rules that's been touched and changed and reformated and all this millennial shit

And sadly with this new age, day and age in regards to the new millennium, they're not really getting that because with this new millennium they go against their grandparents and their great grands or even the elders that is still existing in today's society. So that's one thing. And then the other thing is because they weren't being taught how to do that. From a very young age, they came into the world assuming that what they saw their parents or their elders do

And that's where I was coming from when I asked, should it go back to the old school way? Not saying it was always bad, but it just kept people in line more so. The younger generation, so when they grew up, they knew where responsibility and accountability and civility and all of those things came from. So even when you want to ushered into this age, you have to go back to the old school way to see where it originally came from

But she said now we've gone to the era of no standard and I wish we had some, is what she was saying. And I do agree with that because I think that whether we were talking about anything, we went from strict standards to no standard. I'm listening to a book now and it's about Christian and finances, christians handling our finances. And it was very interesting to learn about the debt system and even how the debt system is related to the spirit of Babylon

So it was some different things going on back in my era in regard to the old school that I'm thinking about that everything wasn't perfect, just like everything isn't perfect now. But there is certainly a lack of boundaries. It's just all over the place. In regard to sexual orientation, in regard to poly relationships, in regard to being okay with sharing one man. They make songs about it. I have them on the weekend. You have them Monday through Friday

A lot of these orphanages were filled with white babies because you get pregnant and you don't know who the father is or he's off somewhere to war, you can't raise this baby by yourself. And I wish we would still have that. Where? Let Grandma take the baby. Let Auntie take the baby. I know my Caribbean friends, that's the thing. So many of them have left the kid back in the islands with Grandma

And I just remember how nobody was applauding the fact that she was a 16 year old child that was pregnant. I mean, we loved her, but we were not praising her and we were not trying to empower her at that age. I mean, she's 16, she's pregnant, she's still in school. And not only does her life change, but her family's life changes now because she's going to be having twins

@DearAuntyAng

You either had to go to a college campus or a library. If you're lucky, you might have had a typewriter in the house to actually type it out. But again, I definitely appreciate your reply on this and like I said, didn't get us my opinion, but definitely we have some of those old school ways that we keep a lot of people in line. So, again, thank you for your reply, and as always, stay blessed and keep inspiring

So if there was something going on, they never really said don't worry about it. They explained it the best way they could so that we could sort of comprehend what was going on even if they didn't tell the whole story. But again, around that time when I was coming up, I was under my parents wing. And then also, even if your neighbor caught you doing something, they reprimanded you and then by the time you got home, you got reprimanded again

And that's where one of the oldest cliches come from in regards to a village raising a child, the village always came together this way. Nobody had to be suffering like that. Now, these days, in regards to the new millennial, you don't see that sort of love anymore in regards to loving your neighbor. So a lot has changed, but we have to turn it around and try to make it better and not always glorify what's not right
