So after she got out of high school, she wanted to have some work done. So she got I think she got breast implants and everything, and it was looking good for a moment. Sadly, about three years later, after the surgery, it started to leak into her body, which caused cancer, and by the grace of God, she was able to get everything out, and she survived. So that's where that question comes from also

Interestingly, you mentioned the gastric bypass, and my sister, she's no longer here, may she rest in peace, but my sister actually ended up doing the gastric bypass. Well, she had other health issues that were going on as well. She was diabetic and she was on dialysis as well. And also she had respiratory issues

The topic that you've brought up, I'm actually going to refer back to our previous conversation where you posed a question and then I challenged that question with a different mindset, different framing of how to look at that question. And unfortunately, I'm going to have to do it to you again. When I think of the question that you asked, is before better than after? And vice versa or vice versa? Is after better than before? What comes to my mind is regret

But at the end of the day, you do have that partner, you got that spouse, but you're going to leave him and go end up buying your own flowers anyway because you're single. Might as well stay with him. So that's my thinking, my line of thinking with the before and after. And of course, after could be better. But I think it's important to have these kind of conversations before we dive into something and think about it

It was that in between time where she lost herself, I would say her before and after looks good. And then you have some of us where our before was better than our after. As far as me before, when I was in my 20s, yeah, I was slim. Yeah, I looked healthier. I was told that I had beautiful skin, I had a glow, all that stuff. And then after, I picked up so much weight

So even years later, although dialysis now and everything, in a sense sickness actually caused me to learn to become a little more healthier. So in a sense, just like your friend diabetes saved her life, in a sense, me getting sick saved my life because it gave me another opportunity to make things better while I'm here so that I can live a little longer based on the amount of time that God wants to give me. So that's completely understandable even with your story
