Some people don't know how to reciprocate the love that has been shown to them because it may be their first time encountering that type of love. Everyone's background is different. Not saying that is an excuse or that makes up for the ones who don't try to reciprocate the love that's given to them. I feel like hurtful situations a lot of times put these barriers and guards on these people who actually have a lot to offer. They're just scared to put it out there to the world

I totally agree with the part where you were talking about putting your phone down and being kind of unreachable for a little bit. I think there's a lot of pressure now to always be available. But that's kind of the wrong message, I think, to send to ourselves and to each other. Being available to everyone is not it's not very sustainable, and I don't think it's very healthy. At least I feel like for me, it's not healthy
