Some women need that extra help and support, but I really feel like child support really puts a strain on the co parenting relationship, because now that the man is paying child support, they feel like they don't have to put in time for the child. And that is a problem for me. But I really have a lot more to say. I just want to hear, what are your thoughts on co parenting? When you think of co parenting, what jumps to mind? What comes to mind?

It doesn't have to be as a couple, but the duties are at the same level. Nobody is higher, whatever. I'm not finding the words, but nobody's on any pedestal and nobody's pulling more work than they're capable or willing. It'll be a balanced thing, I think is what I envision when I see co parenting, and certainly something that transcends gender roles
