And that is not always the case. So using empathy in parenting is to say, look at that child based on their age, based on their you know, your child the best based on their abilities. Are they acting out because of a different reason? Do they have something in there that they can't figure out? Or is this a behavior issue? Using empathy, put yourself in their shoes. Meaning try to remember when you were that age, what were you feeling? What were you thinking?
