This helps us live a life that is more positive. And I have a theory that I am in the middle of trying to prove through research that if we feel better about ourselves, our circumstance and our capabilities, that we are more able to overcome trauma from our past and more able to succeed in the future. A person who feels better about themselves is often more willing to take themselves out of a toxic situation, whether it's a toxic relationship or a job environment
