Maybe all the shoppers are trying to make sure that everyone say something. I don't know. And there's a holiday market at. Yesterday I discussed the holiday market at Union Square. There's also another one here at the mouth of the park they call Central. And so I'm walking past that because I'm trying to catch burdock before it closes at 06:00 p.m. Eastern standard time, of course

Walking past the New York athletic Club. Very foncy. Walking past the JW Marriott on my way to Birdhoffs and past what used to be Trump Tower. And I guess there was a little revolt and the residents there decided to reclaim the name of the space. And so it's just an undescript luxury condo. Know across the street from the park, that park that I told you I don't want to mention out loud. Okay, clocking out. See you soon. Bird off

I stand corrected. I'm walking past it. It's still called Trump. It's still called Trump Plaza across the street from the park. You know, the park that I'm talking about, Central park. So very interesting. Very interesting. And there's another horse. You might faintly be able to hear it over the horsepower of the electric powered MTA city bus that was also speeding past. But I'll have to take a photo. Yeah. I'm shocked

And there's a live musician there treating us to the pleasures of jazz. I'm sure there's a Christmas theme in that strumming of keys. Yes, sir

Okay. And we're black. I'm on the, I'm in the shoe department, second floor. I throw it off. And even the music is like ushering you into the notion of shopping. We're not even shopping, just paradise. We don't even need to put consumerism or capitalism. We don't need to restrict joy with any notion of material gain. So you can just hear it wafting through the air. I just wanted to give that a beat so you can absorb it

And I don't know what that means in terms of these two different brands, but I think that it's well played and well placed because they both, to me, occupy a very special place in my heart in terms of being much more experimental, but not quite Balenciaga in their execution of actual style, whether it's ready to wear or not, is always going to be debatable. And Balenciaga really pushes that envelope, even past Margiela, fendi or Lueve

There's nowhere else to go. Poor thing. But some of this, I think, is just poorly executed. Slap on a label, call it a day, keep it moving. See how many people bite versus actual. It's almost like you miss the fact that they are actually selling high end fashion in Burdock's windows, but you have to look and then see, like, oh, that's a fendi shoe. That's a purse or shoe. You have to look because it's so well done. It's almost like art is the point and the brand of the fashion is almost besides the point because it is just literally so well done

I mean, it could happen organically, but it's too much pressure. It's a pressure cooker of people versus here, it's much more about the art. You can kind of like slow down and appreciate versus Rockefeller area. It's just more like holiday for the sake of holiday. Seeing some bird off bags. So success, they bought something. That's the whole point. And, yeah, to me, it's just much more sincere
