What are some of the benefits of Self Care?

Self care has so many benefits for your overall well being. So many positive benefits go into doing self care. Okay, so the first one I want to go over is reduce stress and anxiety. Practicing self care can reduce your stress, can reduce your anxiety. And the practices that you do to have this outcome is meditation, mindfulness practices, relaxation techniques. Those things you are intentional about throughout your day, those things are considered self care and they have great benefits to your life

I feel like, just like you said, as humans, our human nature sometimes is just to go, go, and we never stop to do things for ourselves that are fulfilling or just nurturing. And I think that's just from childhood, we need someone to tell us it's okay to stop. It's okay to love yourself. It's okay to take time for yourself. So when we're running, we may not hear ourselves to do that
