Are trade shows worth it?

So you have a whole conference going on with people with thought, leadership and ideas in breakout sessions, et cetera. You have a lot of press releases and press conferences, you have a lot of product launches, you have a lot of product demoing, and then, of course, you have a huge conference

ROI is so difficult to measure

And I don't see the senior levels. And the senior level leaderships were like celebrities kind of to the vendors. And if they came through, it was just like almost meeting a celebrity. You wanted to have that moment. Huge proponent of trade shows from a personal standpoint, because that's where I found one of the best jobs I ever had, was really started at a cocktail meeting before a spade show began

@Phil. THE TRADESHOW PLAYBOOK #network #coaching #success

You go on the show floor, you see the things. But that drives the conversations. The meetings impromptu are already planned outside of the convention center, right? So absolutely in line at Starbucks or maybe an actual planned meetings. I tell people all the time, I usually go to a show for one day. I go to the show for a number of hours and I do whatever I can

@ChristineGrimm Additional idea for those that have been laid off

So I went to a trade show, didn't buy a ticket. I didn't have the money to actually purchase the $1,000 ticket to actually attend, and I really didn't want to attend. Now, I'm going to caveat this with I know trade shows have grown weary to firms hanging out outside of the exhibit hall and trying to leech on to the attendees of that exhibit hall in order to sell their wares
