What are you doing daily that is necessary or expected by your boss or workplace, vs what is self imposed?

They work remote, either from their home or maybe from a collaborative workspace, but they're not commuting anymore. During the pandemic, they filled that commuter time with zoom meetings and phone calls work. So if they commuted 90 minutes in the morning and 90 minutes in the afternoon, that was three more hours of activity, work activity that they filled up. Many of those people never took that time back

Sometimes I think about if I were able to return to the workforce, what would that look like? And the biggest thing for me would be boundaries. I used to be salary and you know, salary doesn't stick to the 40 hours a week, right? But for me that would be if they want to hire me, that's what I come with is the boundaries. I start and I end the day, I don't take it home with me, et cetera

And then the boundaries, like you're saying to me, is like one of the hardest things for people to do. Like what you just described that you did before when you were working and you said if you would come back into the workplace, you would do that first. Yeah, I mean, that oftentimes for people is the first tangible way we make change. We say, I'm not going to do that anymore. That means I have to set a boundary
