Society and spiritual gifts

article image placeholderUploaded by @chitchatwithkk
It's. Well, I'm back with another one back to back, because in talking in my last memory as a kid, I began to think about spiritual gifts and how society is afraid of them. Why do we fear spiritual gifts? You know, my dad is a minister, and I remember on several occasions my dad talking about false prophets. You know, he talked about how people couldn't tell the future, how they didn't know

You know, this is a really interesting question. I'm not sure why we are so afraid of spiritual gifts. I don't know if it's people's culture, if it's fear of the unknown, I'm not really sure. But I really enjoyed listening to this and it definitely gave me some really good food for thought for the day. So thank you. Bye

Thank you so much for commenting and listening to my swell. Kind of been a little mixing in action on here, so I'm trying to get back into it. But definitely I think that a spiritual connection is a wonderful connection. I don't think it's anything bad. It's not anything to be scared of. Spirituality is beautiful. It's beautiful to be able to communicate with people through much more than just talking. Thanks again

And so when God said that he wasn't just talking to Jeremiah, he was letting us all know that before he even formed us in our mother's wombs, that he preordained us and he called us to be different things. Right? If we go over to one corinthians, we see the different spiritual gifts that are there. And I believe that everybody has at least one, especially if you belong to a church, because those gifts are nurtured there and they're brought out there. Right

When God tells you to lay your hands on somebody, I don't even think you have to really even say nothing. You could just touch them and that'll be enough for God, right? Because remember the woman with the issue of blood, she touched the hymn of his garment and was made whole. And so I think we have to stop trying to figure out how to use our gifts in society and just do them as God says to do them

They don't need tools, they don't need anything because God has blessed them with that gift. And it is true that all children who are born when they're born, they're able to see spirits. Because we live in a world that's open and non judge. Kids don't judge as much. And kids are open to things and pay attention to things. And a child soul is able to see other souls

#spiritualgifts, #thechurch, #Godspeaks,

It's a beautiful thing. And I hope and I pray that all believers have these experiences, that all people have experiences with the holy so they become to know Jesus Christ as the Lord and their Savior. Amen. But the thing is here we're talking about spiritual gifts in that the Bible talks about being a vessel that the Father can use for his purpose. That means getting out of the way and dying to self and letting God be God in your life
