Colorism

But again, this is just a topic that she came up with and I thought I discussed about it, but in a not so deeply way, but in more like just a light way just to welcome some discussion. So I'm interested in what you have to say

But I've never had a man reject me or anything because of my skin color. I've had darker skinned friends say that they've been mistreated by men because of their skin color. And I actually listened to a discussion that one of my darker skinned friends was a part of just so that I could learn more about that and learn more about some of the things that she's faced. And I learned a lot

It was just more like a disagreement as far as a business that we had that I chose her friend Ship over the business, and she didn't like it, so it didn't work. But like I said, all complexions are beautiful. To me

And then you have and I'm glad I don't listen to the rappers of today, but you have a lot of rappers who are singing their preferences of she has to be red bone, she has to be white, or the harmful things Kevin Hart says, like, dark skinned girls can take a punch versus light skinned girls. So it's definitely out there. We have racism, which is the umbrella, and then within our community, we have the colorism that is shown

A man going to prefer what he going to prefer. But is it true love if he's looking for somebody based off of skin tone? Probably not. And women do the same thing. I want a light skinned man. And then what they say about light skinned men? Oh, they spend hours in the bathroom. Oh, this is how light skinned men will take a picture versus a dark skin. Men are men, light skinned, dark skinned, white, Latino, Hispanic, whatever

You. This is an interesting topic to have come up. First and foremost, I'm sorry that your daughter has to go through that and that it's a conversation that they seem to talk a lot about at her school. But unfortunately, I feel like it's an old conversation. It's a conversation that I think has gone on for quite some time. And let me apologize in advance if I repeat anything that said in the other responses

So even if we are light, we still have issues, too, just like the darker complexity people, our makeup hard to find. The white people's makeup is too light for me, and the black people can be too dark. So I learned this company, and I can't think of it now, but I use the stuff from there and it works wonders. I use a tan color, it works for me. But thanks again for applying and I hope you have an amazing Sunday

And most importantly, I love Glorilla's nose. I think that she looks great with that. But I feel like the same way that I had to retrain my brain to be able to see the beauty in people like Glorilla or other people with more African features, beautiful African features
