I don’t celebrate Easter!
You. As the time goes on and we approach more closer to Easter, I want to share on swell why I do not celebrate Easter. When I grew up, yes. When I was in church, you know, and my dad, he was a minister. I remember the days of going to church and everyone coming out that hadn't been out all year

I mean, they could have had a big lamb, you know what I'm saying, to refer to the lamb of God. But I wouldn't want them to use an animal as opposed to my Jesus. Why don't they just show know? So I'm really, really grateful that you brought this subject up, because I do celebrate, not Easter. See, I won't call it Easter. Happy resurrection Sunday, because I'm so used to saying that because he is risen

Easter Bunny going to scare me to death coming in there all big with some big old ears and stuff. Like, I know he ain't eating grass. Grass ain't going to get it for him. Not even carrots. He might eat me or the kids. But anyway, I'm just being silly. But, yes, I agree. It's very important to know what the real reason of the day is. And that's just like Christmas

He's coming home from the west coast just for that. And that's it. I want to keep the holidays about God and family. So I'm with you on that. I'm not buying a new outfit. I'm not taking pictures with the Easter bunny. We're going to do the buffet dinner because we're going to eat dinner anyway. But that's about it. Simple, simplistic. Let's honor the resurrection without all that other stuff

But that's like one of the last pictures I took of Easter. Whatever. Easter bunny basket stuff. But anyway, yeah, it's just today it's just the Easter Bunny. Easter Bunny. Easter Bunny. Now the biblical term. Yes, we understand that. We talk about it. Whatever. I remember the video that my dad would show. It's like this cartoon movie, and I used to like to watch it because he showed us all these things when we were younger

I remember my son being in, like, some kind of little contest. I don't know if it was Easter time or not, but I don't know. But anyway, that's just some of the pictures that I was able to find

So, yeah, that night before Easter was torture because we'd be in that kitchen getting our hair straightened, and then we couldn't take, like, a hot bath the next day because it would just revert our curls and trying to keep our hair from getting poofy while we took all our pictures. Oh, my God. I just love these memories. Thank you for sharing
