Would you rather have a simple task for someone else or a challenging job for yourself?

I found myself being at the hospital, on the computer, doing my job, finding something to do every second, conversating with someone, calling parents. I didn't take the time to actually sit in myself because I didn't want to think so much about it. And so my way of coping was to be busy

And my dad was always busy. He had two jobs, made a really good income, but forced us to live like we didn't have anything, just due to conditioning of his own life and religious beliefs and things like that. So it was a very interesting dynamic that I grew up in, and it took a lot of work for me to rewire myself, to be open to receiving from others again. Every time people asked me if I wanted help, I always said no

So then I made an agreement with him to, like, let's pause it. And he said he would help because he saw it as one more expense. And he helped for a little bit, and then that dropped off. And then now, at this point, we're now in our first trimester, and I just did not have the energy. And so I remember one day climbing on the dining room table to dust off

It's hey, happy Sunday. Thank you so much for responding and sharing your insights and your experiences. We do all grow up different. And it's interesting that you said that your mom always told you to figure out. Mine didn't even tell me to figure it out. She just didn't do nothing. So I can definitely understand with that. Like, I didn't have that role model or I didn't have that advice

But what I do instead of, I save money on products and stuff like that, I try to use natural products and I try to do things, at least something little on a daily because that way it keeps me on track and it keeps me obligated and everything. But it's a good thing to have a housekeeper. I think one of these days hopefully I'll be able to get one. But your husband, he should have been excited for you to have a housekeeper

So as far as a simple task for someone else, I think I do fairly well when it comes to challenges for anyone, whether it's me or someone else. Simple thing, things, simple things. Sometimes I make a mistake on. But when it comes to challenges, I'm more focused and very attentive. And one of the greatest feelings in the world is a job well done. Yeah, I would definitely rather have a challenging job for myself

But then sometimes I got to realize that sometimes I need help. Like this week at work, I had a whole lot. I was getting stressed and I was like, look, I've got to let you all do your stuff. I'm have to teach you how to do it because I've got to let some of this stuff go so that I can perfect the areas that are my titles instead of just doing your titles
