Celebrity idolization : forget them and respect your own

article image placeholderUploaded by @chitchatwithkk
I kind of feel that you can connect to a celebrity, but I feel that you cannot connect deeply. The songs that people sing sometimes hit a part of your soul and help you to be able to get past things. Because I know I'm a big Adele fan and I will say that my brother bought that 21 CD for me when I was going through a lot of stuff and it did help. I will say that. But am I going to pass out? No

And so, yeah, Beyonce concert and performances are going to look a little bit different the older she gets. That's just what it is. Look at Janet Jackson. She ain't moving like she used to either when she was in the rhythm nation days. This is the progression of life. But the celebrity worship is out of control. You have people that will fight to the death over these celebrities online. And there's a term for it, it's called parasocial relationships

You I've seen that, and then I know that there's this one person who has a platform, and what they do is they eat the foods that the celebrities like. So she'll take a whole day and she'll eat for breakfast what they like and lunch and dinner. And so a lot of people found that interesting, especially if we like someone. But I do have certain people that I do like and follow, but not to the extreme
