Why do we unsee what is clearly visible in relationships

We tend to not put up kitha lot of things. If we say that we're not going to talk to somebody who doesn't communicate or keep in touch, we'll cut them off real quick. If we don't like them, we're like lose his number or oh, she's not worth my time. But when we begin to fall for people and we're connected, we tend to make excuses for them. We tend to say oh, he was busy

If they treat me with disrespect, if they gaslight me, say one thing and do another, I'm done. That's it. My time is mine. It is my own commodity, and who I choose to give it to is my choice. And if someone is not worth my time, then they're not going to get it. And I know that might sound cruel, but I'm worth it

But, yes, I get what you're saying. I definitely have changed up some things. I had to let people go because they just weren't doing. And sometimes it takes a little time, but eventually we all get there

If you don't want to go back to failure, if you don't want to go back to well, you want the thing to fail and go back to being single, single, single, then you do tolerate more and you are willing to do more to make the relationship work. I have a good friend, she was entertaining a guy she knew she had no business being with whatsoever. And it wasn't because he was mistreating her, he was treating her very well

But even in real relationships, there's a cycle. You know, I'm big on lies. Don't tell me something you're not going to do it. But then, like you said, when we care for somebody, then we tend to be like, oh, he was busy because I find myself doing it. But there's no excuse. People make time for who and what they want, and that's just a matter of the fact
