And I don't even know if it's just their personality and that's who they are, is that person that manipulates and always seeks to use and to get their way and leaves many bodies in their wake, so to speak. But it's very much a form of manipulation, and it's the reason why people get into relationships before they should, like marital relationships or even just cohabitating

We don't want to let other people change us. And I'm sorry what happened to your ex. One thing I can say is, with my ex, my ex husband, I just kind of took the lead and I was like, this is this and that. He did get angry a little bit at first, but I just told him every time he met me with anger, I met him with kindness

And I think that trying to dissect that within people is also very interesting because it feels genuine to them at times, I suppose, but it's just on the outside, man. It's really rough when you're on the other end of it and experiencing that because you feel so wanted and so desired. And it's amazing to have someone so interested in you. And then it's like a light switch, and they just turn off. And that's pretty intense
