The next phase: son update ALL

article image placeholderUploaded by @chitchatwithkk
It's a very scary situation because I've learned that I can't control anything, can't control anything when it comes to this part of life. And it's many a nights that I've sat and I've looked at him and he's been sick and there's nothing I can do. I've looked at him sitting in pain and crying and being a week I've looked at him lose weight. I looked at him be pale and his hair fall out

And I understand being a mom with a sick child and feeling helpless because your child is sick and there's really not anything you can do to help them. You just have to kind of grin and bear it. And so I do understand. I really do

You. Thank you for sharing your story. You are so incredibly strong. And you are absolutely right. We are in this together, all of us. We all will face things that are deeply challenging, whether it is sickness, whether it is loss, whether it is it anything in between, and absolutely sending love and light to you and your son and to your family. And I definitely think that your strength will see him through this

It. I just want to say that you sound strong. Your little boy sounds good in the background. I can't even imagine what you have been through and what you're going through. Sounds like you're on the good side of it, though. Thank God. But yes, ma'am. Be thinking. I'll be thinking of you. And I do believe in prayer. To me, just even this is a prayer

And forgive me, I had a pause because I got emotional, but essentially, he dies, and this woman's faith is unwavering. And when she seeks out, essentially, a prophet, she seeks him out. And he recognizes, like, she's seeking me out. I just left her. Her husband and her child. They're traveling along the road. I'm paraphrasing the scripture, okay. It's not quoted exactly. And he sends one of his servants out to greet her halfway

Not really funny, but I share more here than I do on social media or with family. And like I said, it's because this is, like, safe. I know that I don't have anybody asking all kind of questions. It's going to make me think deeper or make me feel sad. I don't have that

Because when you're dealing with something, any type of sadness, any type of depression, any type of adversity, when you get a break or a bit of good news or anything like that, it's weird how you think that a person would be so happy that they're ready to celebrate, but sometimes you're just not sure what to do. It's like, okay, you got good news and who don't want good news?

The normalcy was hearing, like bad news or not the news we want to hear anyway, right? Because just because it's something we don't want to hear doesn't mean it's bad. But he's adjusting. And I can see the smile and I can see that he's not as heavy. It's not as heavy on him. And I'm very thankful for that because God, he creates miracles

Enduring not being able to go to school or not feeling well enough to go to school with his friends and feeling isolated at times, I'm sure because of that. So I thank God that things are becoming more normal in the sense that he'll be able to do more of the things that he enjoys as a child without having to be in the hospital all the time. So thank you for sharing this, and I'm rejoicing with you that better is yet, the best is yet to come
