It's a very scary situation because I've learned that I can't control anything, can't control anything when it comes to this part of life. And it's many a nights that I've sat and I've looked at him and he's been sick and there's nothing I can do. Because when you're dealing with something, any type of sadness, any type of depression, any type of adversity, when you get a break or a bit of good news or anything like that, it's weird how you think that a person would be so happy that they're ready to celebrate, but sometimes you're just not sure what to do. It's like, okay, you got good news and who don't want good news?

The normalcy was hearing, like bad news or not the news we want to hear anyway, right? Because just because it's something we don't want to hear doesn't mean it's bad. But he's adjusting. And I can see the smile and I can see that he's not as heavy. It's not as heavy on him. And I'm very thankful for that because God, he creates miracles

Enduring not being able to go to school or not feeling well enough to go to school with his friends and feeling isolated at times, I'm sure because of that. So I thank God that things are becoming more normal in the sense that he'll be able to do more of the things that he enjoys as a child without having to be in the hospital all the time. So thank you for sharing this, and I'm rejoicing with you that better is yet, the best is yet to come
