Broken people cant break me!
After my boss told him that he was no longer able to pursue and we were not going to have children in their home, he even went as far as to threaten my son's life, to wish that he was not living, and then laughed and said that he would be at his funeral. I would look at it within the innocence of a child, knowing good and well. I was told by basic instructions before leaving earth to come to someone as a child. And yet this individual cannot. I pray for him. As for your team, I love your team. They should be there. You don't want to be a lonely island or a sovereign citizen. That's how I feel. I had to be that way. I would never want anyone to go through that

But as you said it, where you're supposed to be in your career, in your life is a, I think there's a form of destiny that's involved, but B, as opportunities avail themselves to you, you'll be able to nurse and make decisions that make best for you and your household. But people do need to be held accountable. So what you shared here to me is beyond deeply troubling

And when the situation happened, I said, this is part of the job title because I'm a director of the foster care agency, and so I've been the case manager before. I know exactly how that is. But case managers, they can say, hey, well, I'm having a hard time dealing with this person. And they could put it off to the license specialist and the license specialist that I'm having a hard time

I do have things in my life that prevent me from being small like everybody else, other medical things, but that's not his concern. And as long as I'm happy, I know I'm a beautiful woman. Can't nobody touch me. The skinniest person can't touch me. Even if Beyonce walked in a room, she can't touch me. That's how I feel. That's how confident I am in myself. But we should be confident in ourselves

It's because he wanted to draw the attention away from himself and what he lacked, his failure to be who he said he was going to be as an upstanding citizen and a resource to these children. So kudos to you for processing the experience, giving voice to it so you can get through it

And like I said, my team was ready for war for me and that meant a lot because I haven't even had that in my own family. And to know that my work family was ready for war, that let me know that I am loved. And I can't even express the gratitude that I have for that. There's not enough words for me to even begin to grips on how I felt at that moment because I never felt it

It's the same thing when people try to stab us with their words. Well, I have to limit your access to me because you don't deserve it. And, yes, I understand that you are going through something, and, yes, that I understand that you're hurting. And yes, I understand that you're broken. And I wish that I could have limited my access to him, but unfortunately, since I was his boss, had not, because he was one of the parents in the foster care agency, so I had to deal with him
