Joey Chestnut is now a 16-time Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest Winner! (Bonus Swell)

However, the weather and subsequent delay affected his performance, going for the record of 76 that he said himself he is chasing his own history. 76 hot dogs and buns in a matter of ten minutes. The contest is ten minutes. He only ate, and I say only because it is a dramatic decrease to what he normally does, although it is still a superb amount of hot dogs and buns. He ate 62 full hot dogs and buns

I did watch this yesterday, and I don't know why I watch it every year, but I am absolutely drawn to it, and I think it's more being drawn to Joey Chestnut than it is the actual eating contest. And I think Kobayashi really brought awareness to the hot dog eating contest, and then Joey Chestnut took it to another level

Thanks, that’s a great video.

And I'm thinking, you know, back when he had the you know, he still has the record, but, you know, like, how can he consume upwards of 70 hot dogs and not be completely bloated? And now I know that's body fat, that takes away the weight gaining power of that. But yeah, I mean, there's other things you could say that they might throw up after

And I definitely think it played a huge factor. I'd be really curious how Joey and all the other guys would have done had they gotten their chance to do it on time as scheduled. I mean, I'm sure as part of their training, they probably hadn't eaten that day they were building their hunger molecules or whatever kind of training they do. But yeah, man, I love watching that event

I can’t replace George Shay.

So to give you range on that. Oh, and thank you for the video of the 30. For 30. I will definitely check that out. And if I have any comments about it after I watch it, I'll let you know. Thank you so much. Have a wonderful day. Thank you

I think Joey could eat 80 hot dogs and buns.

So I think next year, if normal conditions and they start on time and the weather is okay and whatnot, I think Joey definitely could break his own record and maybe even get to that 80 mark, because, like I said, he only needs four, so I think he definitely could I forgot to mention that earlier. But, yeah, I think he definitely could hit that mark given the right circumstances. All right, be well. Have a good day. Thank you so much
