Apparently, zero and one, although technically prime, are not considered prime. They're just numbers because they're too, I guess, small and abstract to be considered prime, which is crazy. It makes no sense, and there's no really explanation other than my theory that I can give you. But mathematicians, they don't know why. They just know that it is true. So if you ever, ever ask what the smallest prime number is, the answer is two
