Today's letter in the A to Z Poets Challenge on Swell is V. And the poet that we are sharing, whose name starts with the letter V, is Publius Vergulius Maro, better known as Virgil. Virgil was a Roman poet and philosopher who is considered one of the greatest poets in the Latin language. He is most famous for his epic poem The Aniid, which tells the story of Anaeus, a Trojan hero who travels to Italy and becomes the ancestor of the Roman people
