I’m Not Good Enough

What is your deal? And so I went to chat CBT to find out what the heck was my deal. I laughed because, yeah, I used AI to find out what the heck was wrong with me. But it spit out just as quick, impostor syndrome. And at first I was like, that's one of those made up new phrases that all the young folks are saying, that's not real. Then I started researching and really researching, researching and imposter syndrome is real

I love this because you're speaking about the experience of feeling imposter syndrome and then doing the thing anyway. I think that's the real difference. And like you said, the only way to get through it is to do it. And I think bringing this energy also of not pretending that you're not, I don't know, not feeling these things, it, but showing up with that, it's very human, it's very normal

@cerissabrown Hey Girl 👋🏾 #community #mindset #growth #success #impostersyndrome

I come from a household that was very much jamaican on the inside and very much american on the outside. And if you know anything about caribbean culture, you know, it is rough and tough and not as cuddly as one could be, his parents or as people. And I grew up, in a way where I would get, say, a 98 on the test. And my dad's first response to me would be, why didn't you get 100?
