And that flavor continuously got passed down generation after generation, so that so many blacks, to this day, myself included, love butter pecan ice cream. This fact just goes to show you how far we've come, or have we really come that far where ice cream flavors were denied? But we, being resourceful as we are, figured out a better way to get around a situation to make it work for us. Yes, that's what we, as black Americans do

I live in Minnesota and butter pecan ice cream is not really popular, so you have to really hunt for it. And that's a shame because it is such a really good ice cream. But thank you very much for this. I've learned so much about black history, african american history this month through swell, learned about different individuals and little tidbits of history such as this. It's just so wonderful. It's just so rich and so much part of our country

But my two favorite flavors of ice cream, probably hands down, or maybe actually three, is always going to be coffee, green tea, and chocolate chip cookie dough for sure. I've had butter pecan here and there, the richness of the notes, and I think there's some caramel in there. Obviously, I'm a person who loves to look at the notes of ice cream, just like I do with a fragrance. I probably should get some more

There's a myriad of flavors that I love, but I might also need to try and get some today now that you've brought it up again. And it's beautiful here in the northeast today. I'm enjoying the outside really nicely and it's about 70 degrees, which is really warmth for us. And I just also just had some musings about how nice it is.
