If you're from the old line state, I'd love if you'd leave a reply. And if you're not and can just relate to the crazy stories I share, you're encouraged to do the same. I'd love to hear everyone's stories

#MyProfile Welcome to my first Swell! I’m so excited to kick off my series: 10 Things I’m Not Used to as a Marylander from Florida.

And I had lived in Seattle, Washington, before, so still a city, but not anything compared to New York. So I can definitely relate to the culture shock. So I can't wait to hear your stories, and welcome to the Swell community

So everything is new from the top down and starting to learn starting from learning the language and the daily routines and the way of living lifestyles. Every single thing is completely new and be able to adapt and learn the language and work your way through. It's already a challenge, but I love it. I love the challenge because I'm naturally someone who always challenge myself for new things, new habits, new stuff. But I know my limit. But in general, the challenge is exciting to me

And I appreciate all you do as a translator and interpreter. And a few questions I have for you is what do you miss about home? When did you move? Kind of a bit ago. Is it a recent move? And what do you like about the Washington state or just the United States in general? Have you traveled a bit? Have you kind of just stayed in Washington? Do you have any upcoming plans?

Hi Caroline you are very welcome and thank you for your interest those questions I appreciate your curiosity firstly, moving from Congo to here was a very big deal as you know English and French they are not the same structure and moving from. You can hear my accent too, even though I can make myself understood. But the accent will still be there. Just the way we pronounce words in French is kind of different structure. In English it's just like you

It. Sorry. Just to finish my response. This place will be still my home, but I will from time to time be out living where I came and then coming here. And I don't think I will live. I will permanently move there. Like I said, I would be probably between Africa, Europe, and here because I like it here too. I consider myself as a citizen of the world. I love languages

@malekea

But yeah, that's a little bit about me. I hope that answered all your questions. I'm trying to remember all them, but yeah. Thanks for your reply. Again, I'm really enjoying our conversation

But it's just once in a while when I think of one of them, I will just check which one I'm going to see next. Because I'm always attracted to different things cultures, cuisine, people. I'm never afraid of going to new places or finding new attraction. That's where I like to travel. Yes, not only you answer my questions but also learn something new. Wow, you are doing swells as a school project
