The "F" in Failure

article image placeholderUploaded by @candylives
So I thought in this well, I decided to talk about a time that I had failed in my life and I want to talk about it in a positive way without demeaning myself and also to share with you what I learned from this experience. So when I was in the 10th grade, I failed in English. There, I said it. So I studied in an international boarding school and my teacher was American, so she had a tendency to favor the other American students

🙌🙌👏👏 Embrace Failures… Theybare the foundation of anstrong personality and career you are looking to build…

You want numbers, you can get numbers. But what I learned through those experiences is amazing. In my workshops, when I'm in colleges or in corporates training, people I say, look at me. I wear my failures as badges. They are stars on my shoulders. And the learnings I've drive from them propels me further into action. And what I feel where I was able to have a much more stronger personality. In terms of now, I'm not faced with failures

You can imagine how along the way the things I failed from I can't even count talking about the school when I was in thing in middle school or so way before that, I never liked math. Math for me was something all this calculation, everything, it was not me. It's not that I was not a good student because I was a straight A student, but math was not my thing

So she had asked us to get the signature of her father on the test sheet and, oh, boy, was I not petrified. I was. And I remember I did not tell my mother because I was scared of her. And my father has been really chill. He never interfered in my academic stuff because he knew that I always did exceedingly well. So he never interfered. But that one night, I remember I did not tell my mother

Ah, time rai out. But yes, thank you. Thank you for posting this. Thank you for highlighting such an important point, such an important thing that all of us face and not all of us know how to deal with it. I think your podcast will help a lot of people in channelizing your own experience will help a lot of people in analyzing their failure in right direction. And I am at that juncture, too. Thank you. Thank you for the clarity, candy and take care

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and put in a response. I really appreciate it a lot. And yes, it takes vulnerability to speak things and to put it out there, but I'm glad I did it, as I mentioned in The Swell. And so thank you for your words of encouragement as well

It's really kind a positive I think when I listen to it, I myself find myself being encouraged. So thank you for that. And I really like that end at the bit where you said that, you know what? At what age are you meant to be rebellious, right, other than your teenage years? So I had a bit of a laugh when I listened to that, when I heard that

But I think we all have those subjects, right? So thank you for sharing that experience, your experience of failure here. And I think that takes vulnerability. And towards the end, it made me think, as you said, in one situation where things come easily to you, to certain of us, and some people who don't have access to those resources and who have to really fight and struggle for it

It's like one of those coffee shops where they show the process that the coffee is being burned and ground and all of that. I know what an analogy to use, but that's just what came into my head. So. Thanks himanshi. Thanks for really that's what I got out of it when you were expressing that. Yes, that's the thing. There's so much stigma in how we react and respond to failure that we want to cover up

And I felt like as if I'll give up, I'll never participate in any kind of exhibitions and all. So that was the thought in my mind. But later on, after two to three days of self analysis, I realized if I start running away from this chart work, from delivering speeches and all that would affect me. Because in future, if I want to become that, what will happen again? I have to fight with my fears. So why make it late?

Hello, Gauri. Thank you for sharing your experience with failure. It was great listening to how you weren't disheartened and you weren't discouraged, that despite what your master told you, despite the criticism that you had gained and despite a shaky beginning or a rough start, you've taken that and you were like you transformed that into a success story. And that is so commendable. That's so great. And I think the way we perceive failure and the way we tackle failure is quite important
