Surrender

You surrender when she seems to think she knows all? Control fist tightened and faith sealed. The sands begin to fall slowly through those clenched digits, the threads unwind mercilessly slowly. And then the moment Timber builds, a strong gale blows through her wind stripped hair forcing, pushing, pulling, shoving and flinging her helpless body till at last she surrenders

Sometimes it's a little harder, but it makes you free. And that's a great feeling. Let the feeling of freedom guide you towards loosening your grip. And I believe in a friendly universe where there's peace, there's magic, and we will let everybody just be themselves, us and live freely. So thank you so much. This is, again, a beautiful topic you have chosen to write about. And I felt so much at peace reading this. That's all I can say

Superb as always @candylives

And theory combined with the right music and your voice can actually transport the listener to a very different world. It's so know before a person reaches that conclusion that all theory have to do is just surrender because there's nothing else left to do. There's so much of turmoil that goes through in one's mind, in the heart, and of course, in the body. And your poem makes through that journey, through those words

But it is what it is, and you have to accept and let go and let go of your stubbornness also. So the art of letting go is something that we must learn in order to heal ourselves and keep our sanity to. Thank you. Thank you very much for inviting me to this wonderful swell of yours. And I look forward to more swells from you. Hope you had a great day

@Pragati.chopra

Hello, Pragati. And thank you so much for your warm words about my poetry and also for adding to the depth of what I was trying to say. You're so beautifully put it and you've beautifully, beautifully added to it when you talked about breaking free and also letting go of the control, which is exactly what I was talking about when I was talking about having the fist tightened. And I've learned this personally through some lessons in life. And this is how I imagine it

I think you can put it on my resume. I have the skill of matching music to my poetry, but honestly, it's a very organic process. I try to pick music, usually in YouTube, which tries to capture the emotion that I'm trying to express. So it's very organic and it's also very fun to do. It's really fun to do

Hi, Candy. And I really feel you have magic in your voice. And the music you select is absolutely a fantastic combination to create any kind of difference in someone's life who is listening to you. I truly believe that because the poems that you come up with and the way you recite them is absolutely fantastic, it creates some spark in the eyes of listeners. It makes the listeners feel like, yes, why can't we do it? Why can't we change it?

I think I was just being very negative and in a negative mind space. I still am, actually. I'm working my way out of it. And I listened to your response, and then I had to think that, yes, there are people like yourself who find the value behind the words that I write. And the poetry I write is a reflection and expression of what I feel, what I think. And it's very much a unique part of me that I put out into the world
