Sifting the Sand for Gems

article image placeholderUploaded by @candylives
So now, as I exercise, I have started looking back and redefining my perspective of an experience from a perspective of abundance, rather than poverty, to focus on the few precious gems that are so rare and valuable compared to the sand, right? Because I think we have a tendency to fixate on the worthless. The sand that actually adds no value to your life. So this, I think, is me beginning to sift the sand in my life

Hi Candy, thanks for sharing this wonderful advice. I am a person who believes that happiness is a choice. You know, every morning you need to get up and ask yourself, will you be happy? Sometimes this choice is obvious. Sometimes? Nope. And your mother is a wise woman because she not only imparted great knowledge to you, but through you, she's imparted great knowledge to so many people. There are days when making that choice to be happy for me is difficult

I think even what you were talking about when you wake up in the morning, you ask yourself, am I going to be happy today? And I think that's creating intention. It's about understanding that. It's all about creating intention and it's about our mindset and how we choose. We definitely choose our mindset and to be happy and truly, I am blessed. My mother is a wise woman. She has imparted very much all kinds of wisdom to me that sometimes gets me thinking
