The Sound of Silence : Simon & Garfunkel
Hear my words that I might teach you. Take my arms that I might reach you. But my words, like silent raindrops fell and echoed in the world. Of silence and the people bowed and prayed to the neon god they made and the sign flushed out its warning in the words that it was forming and the words of the prophets are written on the sobbing walls and tenement holes and whispered in the sounds of silence so that's it, folks. That was Simon and Garfunkel's

Good morning, Gandhi. Thank you for posting this. This was so melodic and I'm glad that you do this musical Sunday morning things. It's refreshing and rejuvenating to listen to your sweet voice and this song is my all time favorite. All time favorite and many a days I go without listening to this song but it is always in my head so I think I have shared this with you that my mind is a low key transistor or a radio. A lot of songs keep getting played

Also, Candy, I forgot to mention I was recording my reply. Okay? So two things. First, you have got an opera like voice. So if you ever would like to train for being an opera singer, I think you have a wonderful chance at it. And secondly, you know, the sound of silence. I I think I listened to this music in Adarsh's swell. And it just made me listen to it on a loop a couple of times. I was thinking Kahasuna Mane
Or, like, the glasses in their house. So I was like, dang. I was just glad I wasn't screeching. So somehow I made it through. I definitely, I think, made it through over the hump. So that's that. Thanks for responding and always encouraging this music. Sundays, I actually really enjoy doing it

So I just got up an hour back and so had my brunch, and there was the notification, a sound of silence. And I am eternally grateful that you have dedicated this well, because this song means a lot to me. And you would be surprised that I came across the song recently, I guess, in 2023 itself. And it is in the top hundred songs in my winged playlist and in the top ten. It has featured thrice in different acoustic and in different voices

And I plus one, your viewpoint and opinion and yes, you will be surprised that as I mentioned to Candy that this song I recently heard in 2023 and I've played it like thousand times, so and I've used it in one of the swells, which is a flute instrumental sound of silence. And I'll share it with you. It's such soothing. It's absolutely mesmerizing. So I hope you will love that. All right then. Bye

Thank you. Thank you, Adesh, for introducing us. The flute version, it takes you to old vintage days. Now every time I listen to this flute version, it seems that I've gone back to Malguri days by Arkan. So, yeah, yes, Candy is super talented. I mean, there's nothing that she cannot do. Truly a superwoman. And yes, her voice is what should I call it? It's so fresh and it's so soothing
