Tooth and Nail, Sensory Techniques: Wind

article image placeholderUploaded by @Byrdseyeview
And it's been done over and over and over again, especially the elemental stuff like Avatar, Last Airbender and other stuff. But as I kept going along creating this book, I just felt like I had to do it. It was kind of like something I had to add in to make the series more exciting and more fun and more deeper for each individual character. So the first one that kind of got that was Sapphire in the original book

This is so cool. Thank you so much for sharing your, like, thought process through that. It's really interesting to hear you talk about it and then, like, see the pages. I love that. It was awesome

That's why it's called sensory tech, because they sense the environment around them and they pull in whatever is the strongest in that environment and uses it as an attack or a defense or something like that. So, yeah, I was trying to make it interesting and then it came out pretty good. I like it. A lot of people like it. So I'm going to be doing another one today on another character. I'll be doing one each day

I absolutely get not being able to really, like, you know, describe what you're writing. Coming from a writer myself, an author writer, I get not being able to really portray what you're trying to say to people when people ask you, what is it are you writing? What is this? But you yeah, I absolutely love your concept. I love your concept. You explain it in a way that I couldn't really explain my own projects, honestly

Thanks so much for your feedback. I love this feedback. I love swell because we can hear each other's voices. It's awesome. Yeah, thank you so much for that. Really, in order to tell a good story, you have to kind of pull from your influences around you. A lot of people say, oh, you got to be original. You got to be original. And yeah, yeah, we do have to be original

And so in a way, yeah, it is original if it's your own take on it your own experience and stuff. But as a whole, I would say we are not completely, totally original. We're always going to borrow from other people, but it's a different story that we're telling through those inspirations and stuff. So, yeah, it's a very thin line between the two

So the foundation is there to bring out something original. Another movie comes to mind is Blade Runner based on the Philip Kate D*** books and stuff. And that's more of an adaptation. And that's hard to say, too, when it's up being an adaptation. Is the movie going to be original? Most likely, yeah, because a lot of times they change material in the movie based on the books. Same thing with Roger Abbott and everything
