The Plight of the collector

article image placeholderUploaded by @Byrdman
So one of my biggest problems as a collector is space. I have a lot of action figures in the picture that I attached. That is just one section of what I have. And I run out of account how many I have. I probably have over, you know, almost 500 to 600. And I know that's nothing compared to other people. But when you have a I wouldn't even say a small space. I have a kind of a medium space in my house

Just because that's not a world that I'm super familiar with. I used to collect final records for a while. I've collected some things here and there in life, but don't have an active collection of anything at the moment. And so I'm just curious, what motivates you? Do you enjoy seeing them? Do you enjoy the sentimental value of what they have brought, the joy they maybe brought you in the past? I'm just curious

This will call me materialistic in a way, but I don't put it over family or friends or just humanity in general. But I just love it. I just love being a collector, and I like having these things because it's just fun. It's a lot of fun and it's a lot of setting up for different kind of themes and doing different poses with the characters that kind of match up to the comic books or cartoons or whatnot. So, yeah, it's really cool

Hey, man, I can totally relate to this post right here. Probably more than most posts I come across on swell. I've always been a collector of things. Those things have evolved over the years. I mean, I remember a time when I was certainly on the beanie Baby craze and wrestling action figures was really big for me. When I was a kid, I had buckets and buckets and buckets of them. As I got older, my focus is kind of shifted
