First of all, it's a kids movie. Second of all, it's a Mario movie. Mario you don't go play Mario for the story. You play Mario for the action and the fun of the game. So this movie really shines and shows the fun part of Mario. It's just a fun Mario game. And there's a lot of throwbacks in the background, a lot of Easter eggs. And you'll be like, oh, look at that

I know he's taking a lot of heat, but I think Seth Rogen has taken a lot of heat off of him. So don't think people are on his case as much anymore. I didn't have any problem with him whatsoever. I thought it was pretty well done, actually. So for me, it hit a little bit of nostalgia, a little bit of fun, and I don't know what more that I want out of a movie these days

Legend of Zelda metroid Kid edicaris they have a lot of stuff that they could really kick b*** with, and I think this is the catalyst for that. And I think it's time that video game movies start getting good, getting way better than they've been for a long time. So thanks for your feedback. That was awesome

I really think it would just be a money grabber. And especially Hollywood these days doesn't really want to reinvent the wheel. Nothing really original is coming up. It's all kind of rehashes of stuff that's proven to make money. And if this movie makes a lot of money, I would just have to believe that Zelda could make just as much. And Metroid may he's a little bit more niche, but my goodness, I just think Zelda would be a slam dunk

So I think that's part of the reason why that movie was such a joke. And many other video game movies like Doom and other stuff, because Resident Evil and all that is that I don't think they knew how to really adapt a video game movie, which I can't understand because the source material is already given to you. The story is already given to you. So the problem is everybody's trying to make it, to change it so that it can relate to everybody
