Quiet Quiting:Work

article image placeholderUploaded by @BruceWan
The thing is work, there has to be mutual respect. If I respect the boss, the boss has to respect me back. You should give the same appreciation. You should give the same respect towards your colleague, towards your coworker. And that doesn't have to come out with the demand, it has to come out naturally. Just like, you know, subordinate or lower staff can really respect the higher staff. It has to be in that manner

If the job is not meant for you, have a backup plan and then quit quietly.

Seeing a lot of things at play

They just don't have that desire to work as hard as 2019. And I think it has a lot to do with COVID I think work from home has seen a lot of people realize that, hey, a worklife balance is what I really need in life. I don't want to work these 16 hours days. I don't want to not see my kid play sports. I want to be able to see that. And you see some burnout as well

When in doubt reject @BruceWan

And so my take on it is that if something's not working out for you, fair enough, somewhere there are better opportunities out there and so get going. Alternatively, if you have to be in the organization and fight it out and express yourselves and let people know that why things need to go your way, then that's the other approach. And the third approach is of course, then you recalibrate. Sometimes you'll end up having wrong expectations just because
