What are the seven stages of trauma bonding? Happy New Year. I'm Debbie Griffiths from broken to boldness. And I have to admit that when I began writing my book about gaslighting, I had not heard the term trauma bonding. I left my abuser 25 years ago, so they now have a better knowledge and diagnosis and treatment for these issues. So what is trauma bonding? I know a lot of people who are also not using the term correctly, so this is, I don't know, really enlightening and really scary to see. I don't know how prevalent some of these patterns are. I feel like you named them very specifically, and I realized that I've seen a lot of them or even experience some of them. And, yeah, I think the best way to deal with them is by doing exactly this, sharing the knowledge and talking about it
