A Different Way to Celebrate Valentine’s Day!

article image placeholderUploaded by @Brkntobldness
In other words, if a victim is still in an abusive relationship, valentine's Day can be one where the aggressor love bombs the victim, and the victim then is made to believe that things really aren't that bad and that he must love me because he bought me candy and flowers. This false sense of reality only is temporary until the cycle of physical and verbal abuse begins again. But there is hope for our survivors. Make Valentine's Day a day of self care

Hey, Debbie. I always love hearing what you have to say on Swell here. And I really liked your ideas for a different Valentine's Day, especially maybe creating a new meaning around it with family and creating those core memories. I spent Valentine's Day with my brother, and we were talking about that, about why. Why does it have to be just the romantic love that we celebrate on this day? And, yeah, having had troublesome relationships romantic relationships. Romantic relationships in the past
