You don't have to be perfect for someone to love you. Your results don't need to be perfect the first time to prove your intelligent, capable, and a worthy human being. I shared the following statement recently, and it seemed to strike a chord. The statement goes like this you've been trying to be perfect for so long and it's burning you out. A solution is learning to enjoy being being human

It's impossible. You can't be perfect and your actions can't be perfect. So I just love that the response to that is to just enjoy being human and accepting and learning from what it is to make mistakes and to have successes and everything that goes in between

And I kind of warmed up to that through my experience of studying Buddhism all these years, but also just having to give myself grace. I'm so clumsy because of my elders Danlos and the Ms, and having to go from fully able to a cane to a wheelchair. And there's just so much about me that's imperfect
